Brian Philpot is the President, Chief Executive Officer, and Principal Owner of AgAmerica, with headquarters located in Lakeland, FL. His background includes extensive experience in real estate investing, agriculture lending, real estate law, market analysis, and negotiation. AgAmerica developed from Brian’s long-time investment company, Land South Group. Founded in the late 1990s, Land South Group was an investment firm with a particular focus in timberland, agricultural, and conservation real estate across the southeastern U.S. Land South Group also made value investments in residential development, industrial real estate, manufactured housing, office properties, mitigation banks, broadcast towers, and distressed real estate debt. Mac Miller
Mac Miller has been with AgAmerica since 2013. A proud graduate of Clemson University’s College of Business and Behavioral Science, Mac gained valuable experience early on through various leadership roles, including Interfraternity Council President, and memberships in prestigious collegiate organizations such as the Tiger Brotherhood and Blue Key Honor Society. As Executive Vice President, Chief Revenue Officer, and Co-Owner of AgAmerica, Mac implements his professional leadership background in the development of revolutionary and innovative capital structuring methods. He values unconventional thinking and works diligently to set up optimal capital structures for each client to equip them with the resources needed to achieve their respective operating goals. His philosophy for success is individual, personalized attention, and high-quality work. Under Mac’s leadership, AgAmerica has added more than $2 billion in loans, achieving an average growth rate of 140 percent year after year.
Courtney Eelman
Courtney Eelman joined the AgAmerica Lending team in July 2017. She is the Co-President, Chief Strategy and Risk Officer and her focus is to align strategy, processes, people, technology and knowledge as AgAmerica manages risk throughout the lending process. Courtney holds more than 20 years of experience in agriculture lending. Since joining AgAmerica, Courtney has created efficiencies and processes that have led to improved loan volume with an overall increase of 150% since 2016. Courtney has established both the Credit and Servicing departments and was instrumental in obtaining Central Servicer status with one of the agriculture GSEs. Email
