Nick Barnett, a third-generation Lakeland native, serves on the Lakeland Economic Development Council board representing Barnett Family Partners. Beyond his professional endeavors, Nick is a dedicated philanthropist and community leader whose generosity and vision have shaped projects such as Bonnet Springs Park, the Barnett Applied Research Center at Florida Polytechnic University, and the Ashley Gibson Barnett Museum of Art at Florida Southern College. He also lends his leadership to several organizations, serving on the boards of Publix Super Markets Charities, Bonnet Springs Park, and Catapult Lakeland, and as Board Chair of the Academy Prep Center of Lakeland. Through his role with the LEDC and his broad civic involvement, Nick continues to drive innovation, economic growth, and community development in Lakeland and across Central Florida.
