The Ruthvens, Central Florida’s warehouse specialists, have decades of expertise in industrial, manufacturing and distribution warehouse space, with a total portfolio of over 4.5 million square feet in Polk County. Their properties are located along the I-4 corridor between Tampa to Orlando. This location provides quick access to all major north, south, east, and west highways allowing for regional or state-wide distribution across Florida.

The Ruthvens are a 3rd generation, family-run company, dating back to 1957. They own and manage 93 buildings with decisions made locally to allow their clients to move forward and grow. The Ruthvens also represent an additional 40 properties to provide additional flexibility for Central Florida businesses.

For over 69 years, The Ruthvens have been invested in the growth and expansion of the Polk County economy and community.

 

Brandon Clark

Brandon has served as President of The Ruthvens since January 2022, overseeing all operations, development, leasing, financing, and strategic direction for the Company.

He first joined the Ruthvens in 2018 as Vice President, following a career in corporate banking. Brandon was a Vice President Corporate Banker with J.P. Morgan for eight years where he had responsibility for companies headquartered in Florida with revenue or market cap exceeding $1 billion. Before joining J.P. Morgan, Brandon was a member of SunTrust Robinson Humphrey’s Financial Services and Technology group in Atlanta, GA.

Brandon has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.

Brandon serves the community as Vice Chair of the board of the Central Florida Development Council (CFDC), is an active member of the Lakeland Economic Development Council (LEDC), and a former board member of the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce. He is also graduate of Leadership Lakeland Class 37. With a passion for philanthropy, he is involved with the First Presbyterian Church of Lakeland, the Polk Museum of Art, and Gospel, Inc.

Brandon and his wife, Lauren, have three children- Georgia, MaryCharlotte and Sutton. In his free time, he enjoys boating, playing tennis and spending time with his family.

 

Jake Schner

Jake Schner joined The Ruthvens in June 2022 and serves in Sales and Leasing, where he focuses on cultivating strong relationships with brokers, prospects, and clients throughout Central Florida. He works closely with businesses to identify and secure warehouse, flex, and office space that supports their operational goals and long-term growth in Polk County. His market knowledge and client-focused approach make him a valuable resource for companies evaluating expansion or relocation opportunities.

Jake earned both his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in Sport Business Management, and his Master of Business Administration from Florida Southern College. During his time at Florida Southern, he served as team captain of the men’s basketball team, reflecting the leadership and teamwork he brings to his professional role today.

In addition to his professional role, Jake is active in the community. He serves as President of the FSC Men’s Basketball 6th Man Club, was named First Runner-Up for Mr. Central Florida in 2022, helping raise more than $50,000 for the community, and is a graduate of Leadership Lakeland, Class 42. He is married to his wife, Beth, and they are excited to welcome their first child in May 2026. Through his involvement with the Lakeland Economic Development Council, Jake is proud to represent The Ruthvens and support continued economic growth and opportunity across the region.
