Combining sophisticated technology and old-fashioned professionalism; the Institute focuses on its job placement services for graduates. The institute is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training (ACCET), and licensed by the state board of Independent Postsecondary, Vocational, Technical, Trade and Business Schools.

Traviss Technical Center is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and offers 36 occupational courses ranging from electronics to machine shop. Traviss also provides skills training programs to local industry through its Business and Industry Services department. The course work is designed to meet he specific needs of the individual company. Both day and evening courses are available for students.
